Dr. J. M. Denison is excited to announce the International Certificate Program. This program is designed to give students the opportunity to explore the world around them by pursuing international studies in a focused manner.

Teachers:
- J. Piper - Mr. Piper is the Head of History and Social Sciences at Denison. He has a passion for history and helping students become better critical thinkers.
- S. Harris - Mme Harris is the Head of International Languages at Denison.
- E. Morris - Ms. Morris is Guidance Councillor and former head of Business at Denison. She has a passion for Entrepreneurship and Innovation and loves to discuss new Business Ventures.
- B. Young - Mr. Young is a Guidance Councillor and English Teacher at Denison.
Program Highlights
What is it?
A 4-year certificate program for students who are interested in global citizenship and intercultural awareness.
Students concentrate their studies in 4 key areas: language acquisition; international coursework; international experience and engagement and 4-year portfolio/resume of accomplishments in the program.
In addition, students will complete a ‘legacy’ project
Students will be assigned a ICP Advisor (J. Piper, D. Nicoletta, S. Harris, E. Morris)
Who Can Apply?
Open to any DDSS student (we are the only school in YRDSB offering this program)
All pathways are honoured in this program (University, College, Workplace)
Entry to the program can be in Gr. 9, 10 or 11 (more difficult in later grades)
